Ya, clearly from the title above, it’s about my hobby to collect coin, especially the EURO coin currency.
Why do I collect coin? simple answer: I LIKE COIN!! :))
It’s look shimmering , with many unique design carved on it. And it’s not a lavish hobby, I collect the currency, so basically “I’m saving money!”, in different way 😛
But I have to admit that some coins that I collected are worth more that the real value, and sometimes I did collect the collection coin (not the currency one).

Anyway, lets talk more about the euro coins, there’re 8 euro coin denominations:
    1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50 cent, 1 euro, & 2 euro
And as we know, euro is the official currency in many European countries (now: 23 countries).
In detail, there’re 17 European Union (EU) members:
    AustriaBelgiumCyprusEstoniaFinlandFranceGermany,GreeceIrelandItaly,
    LuxembourgMalta, the NetherlandsPortugalSlovakiaSlovenia and Spain.
    and 6 other European countries:
    MontenegroAndorraMonacoSan MarinoKosovo and the Vatican

And this is the most interesting part (for me): each country will have their own design in “national side” of coin. Which is mean, u can collect many different design for each denomination.
For example, u can click the link for the €2 coin image : €2 coin
Almost all kind of euro coin can be found in Eurozone.

Ok, now about my collection, I wanted to write “I completed my euro collection!!”
But after I found the list of all the countries above, I realized that it just about half+ to complete 🙁
As I know, there’re only  20 national design now. Estonia euro coin is the newest euro that entered the circulation, on 1st January 2011.

My Estonia's coin from ebay ^^

And here, I proudly present my complete EURO coin collection of the 1st album (consist of 12 Europe countries; Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain)!!

There is the 2nd album, that contain the rest countries, but its really difficult to find 🙁 (rare, new, etc)

Among all the coin that I have, some I bought it from ebay 😛
Too difficult to find! Like the 1cent&2cent of Finland, couldn’t find it in circulation. Why??
In Finland, the cash transactions are rounded to the nearest 5cent by law! In simple case, if u do cash payment in supermarket and your change is €5,02, u’ll get only €5!
The same case is applied in Netherlands, but not by law, only by voluntary agreement (I still can found some of these coins in Germany).

There are many other interesting information about euro coin; about 2 euro commemorative coin, about the “expensive” Vatican coin, etc, that I couldn’t share all here. Perhaps, I’ll have another longing to write 😛
That’s all. Hope that this one can encourage you to collect coin :))

Really thanks to some friends that help me completed my first album ^_____^
